National RPAC levels have reached 47% of the 2008 goal during this critical election year and year of economic downturn. . TBOR has only met 25% of our 2008 goal.
RPAC is the preservation of our trade and has been an investment in our business since 1969. I remind each of you that as a result of RPAC dollars REALTORS® do not belong to local, state or federal institutions and we do not belong to banks. ONLY we can insure that we have the opportunity to continue to operate as we have been as REALTORS® for the past 100 years. I have made a second large contribution because I want to see my rights protected. A powerful example of this is fighting to prevent taxation on our real estate commissions. This is already occurring in other States and would be a powerful negativity in any commission discussions with our clients and customers.
RPAC PROTECTS A REALTOR®’S RIGHT TO BE SUCCESSFUL!
We applaud the following contributors for their generous donations and support this past month:
John Hanlon Ben Krasnow Dave Dayton Thomas “Tuck” Fauntleroy
REALTORS® are the ONLY Homeowner advocate group that not only sell real estate but offer disaster assistance, apply and work for grants for homeowner disaster services and more. Each REALTOR no matter their financial situation can participate in advancing important REALTOR® legislative matters pertaining to the success of our industry. 70% of all RPAC donations stay in Wyoming with the remaining 30% sent directly to NAR for distribution. During the next months you will be contacted by one of the Teton Board or REALTORS® Directors. Please write your check for $15 or more made payable to RPAC and deliver/mail to either the Board Office or to one of the following 2008 Board Directors:
Diane Nodell, President (Diane Nodell Real Estate Inc.) Brett McPeak, President Elect (Sothebys) Jack Delay, Past President (Teton Village Realty) Paul Kelly, Treasurer (Real Estate of Jackson Hole) Jill Sassi-Neison, Secretary (Sothebys) Bill Helm, Director (Snake River Sporting Club) Deb Allen Kennan, Director (JH Real Estate and Appraisals) Carla Stone, Director (Real Estate of Star Valley)

Your Directors are involved because they strongly believe that RPAC INSURES THAT WE RETAIN THESE FREEDOMS! We challenge you to join us in this united effort.

2007 REALTOR of the Year
DIANE NODELL joined the real estate community 25 years ago with a rich background in dance and the arts. After many years teaching dance, directing and managing non-profit art centers, and producing theatrical events, Diane turned her artistic and business skills toward real estate. She started her career in California, subsequently moving to Wyoming in 1993. Diane Nodell Real Estate was founded in 2002 and is presently a firm of five agents with Diane as the Owner/Broker. Although her life is busy with her day to day business, she still finds time to give to our community, generously contributing a portion of every commission to causes and organizations in need such as, doctors without borders, various art organizations and Indian reservations. Soon to be President of Teton Board of Realtors, she promotes professionalism, ethics, and integrity in our business. Dedicated to making sure that new licensees are provided with professional tools and ethics, she has spearheaded new, required enhanced training into a reality. Diane was awarded our professions' highest honor for her unique individual style, always imparting integrity, compassion and professionalism in all she does. Congratulations Diane!
