A big thank you to our Education Chairs for 2015, Katie Robertson & Jane Folgeman, for bringing Successful Buyer and Seller Systems as an elective class to our board on March 10th.
The Western Mountain Resort Alliance was here March 5th.   They presented a panel discussion on the resort markets in Sun Valley, Lake Tahoe, Whistler and Park City. As a secondary market in Jackson, it is important we are all educated on our competing markets. It was very informative and well attended by our members.
I also wanted to take a moment to introduce Carma Miller our new AE that took over for Barb Garrett in January of this year. Carma is doing a great job, as is Carrie and Suzi at the board office. We are certainly thankful for all of their hard work!
Two upcoming events to note:
April 24 & 25th –  33rd Annual JH News & Guide HOME SHOW at the Snow King Events Center.  Thanks to our Public Relations Chairpersons, Mike Jorgenson and Des Jennings we will have a booth set up during the show. Volunteers will be needed to man the booth – look for a sign up email in the coming weeks.  This will be a great opportunity to hand out helpful home ownership information.

Friday, April 24 –  BOWLING FOR RPAC CREATE A TEAM, IT’S AN 80’S THEME! 6:30pm-9:00pm at the ELKS CLUB.  Register your 4 person team by filling out the form located on the website!  Sign up today – don’t miss out!

RPAC – Realtors® Political Party Action Committee
Since 1969, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The purpose of RPAC is clear: REALTORS® raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support their interests. The money to accomplish this comes from voluntary contributions made by REALTORS®. These are not members’ dues; this is money given freely by REALTORS® in recognition of how important campaign fund raising is to the political process. RPAC doesn’t buy votes. RPAC enables REALTORS® to support candidates that support the issues that are important to their profession and livelihood.  Go to the TBOR website for more info.

Realtor® Action Center
It is critical for REALTORS® to speak with one voice about the stability that the real estate market brings to our communities. From city hall to the state house to the U.S. Capitol, elected officials make decisions that have an impact on the bottom line of REALTORS® and their customers. The REALTOR® Action Center is where you learn how Voting, Acting and Investing in RPAC builds our political strength at every level of government.  Go to the TBOR website for more info.
